How does the video appointment work

  1. Upon booking, you will receive an email confirmation with a link to start the video consultation.
  2. We recommend that you click on this and confirm that it’s all working a few minutes before the start of your consultation.
  3. After you have clicked the “join or start meeting’ you will be led to the meeting screen, and you’ll be able to see participants.
  4. You can mute your microphone, turn your camera on/off and change the screen to full-screen mode.
  5. If you are having any technical issues with the call or your connection, please email me Info@menopauseconsultancy.com and we can switch to a voice call.

What is discussed in my appointment ?

During your initial consultation, we will take the time to understand your unique symptoms, lifestyle, and concerns. We’ll engage in a comprehensive discussion to identify the root causes of your symptoms and explore a range of evidence-based treatment options.

What’s Included:

  • A thorough review of your medical history and menopause symptoms
  • Personalised recommendations for lifestyle modifications, supplementation, and stress management techniques
  • A detailed explanation of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and its potential benefits and risks
  • A collaborative approach to creating a holistic treatment plan tailored to your needs.

How Often will I need to be seen after my initial consultation?

I recommend a follow up appointment after 3 months of starting your menopause treatment plan, this gives time for HRT to settle if that’s your chosen option.  After the initial follow up I would then recommend an annual review.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my consultation?

Please email me at info@menopauseconsultancy.com Any request received to reschedule a consultation will automatically result in the cancellation of the original one. This allows me to make these consultation slots available for patients on our waiting list.

Please note that if you would like to reschedule or cancel your appointment I have a 48 hour cancellation policy. This means that cancellations or changes made prior to this will not be charged. If any cancellations or changes are made with less than 48 hours’ notice, the full consultation fee will be charged.

What information will I receive following my consultation?

Within 24 Hours of your appointment, you will be sent by email your holistic personal menopause plan outlining what we discussed during your consultation.

This can also be emailed to you GP with your consent.
